[2019 Six Nations] Scotland vs Ireland (09/02/2019)

While it's a well taken chance and Scotland have scored a few intercepts, it's not a viable tactic to win games. I don't see Scotland winning still.

Hate to say it but there's no way Ross Byrne would have done that.
Didn't he do it in a game in recent months. Not really a point though as it bit of shitty throwdown. Was poor call by Joey on 2 counts.

But it's a game where we are predictable. Aki has - yards

We're having to commit way too many players to rucks and it's leaving us with very few options in attack, good work by Scotland in fairness.

Carberry is an interesting player, clearly talented but does he fit how Schmidt wants to play? Scotland can get a lot more change out of him I think

It's unfair on James Ryan that he has to play with other humans because none of us are good enough for him.

That is absolutely class.

Great seeing Roux and Conan showing up well in that passage.

Great defence, but can Ireland keep this up all game? The England game is likely to take its toll at some point. It was physically brutal.

Great defence... Great half!
Great defence, but I think Scotland's attack was predictable and haphazard. Instead of having a clear plan they just kept trying different things even if it wasn't on. Laidlaw as well is still to slow. Needs to be quicker.

Suppose your gonna tell me how it was a rubbish half of rugby too! :p

Conan had a great half.

Stockdale is so far ahead of any other winger we've had for years that it's ridiculous.
