[2019 Six Nations] Scotland vs Ireland (09/02/2019)

So much pace. Classic Schmidt move.

Presume Maitland to fullback and Kinghorn on the wing?

Hogg succumbs to the late 'obstruction' hit and.... game over? Scottish defence regressing but that was lovely by Ireland.

Lovely heads up rugby there from Ireland. Made the build up look simple and great pace to finish.

That's the difference unfortunately between winning the six nations and not. Making those tackles. With Hogg off now Ireland should easily get the bonus point.

Just general booing and jeering, Sextons conversion is as bad as I've heard in the international game

Yup, the Glasgow fan culture appears to have extended to the national team. Not a good development although the tackle that started the booing did ultimately result in Hogg going off injured.

Has Farrell ever played 12? Him and Ringrose would be amazing as a centre partnership.

Poite's cadence is so slow, sticking in the crouch position without a bind is quite stressful.

Was that a forward pass for Kinghorn's initial break.

Sexton should let Murray or Kearney take the kicks if he's not kicking freely.

Russell is playing pretty well but this feels like the kind of game where he throws an interception or something

I really like watching Finn Russell play. Lovely distributor. Seems to have time on the ball. Increasingly making good decisions (cue a terrible pass or kick now).

Poor by Carberry, excellent work from Russel. Good effort from Earls as well.
