[2018 November Tests] England vs New Zealand 10/11/18

Who knows, we don't concern ourselves with the opinions of sheep

And sheep don't concern themselves with the opinion of 'losers' :) To be fair, England deserved to lose that game due to the disrespect of the fans for the Haka right at the start. Karma.

Totally bored of people calling responses to the Haka "disrespect". It's a challenge, not some quaint piece of cultural conservation. You reply in kind.

Never thought England would outscore the ABs by 2 tries to 1.
Never thought as well when saw England playing last week, but consider test matches as only test matches, it does,'t mean so much, we know the AB, those we'll meet next year, are not those we saw today.

Yeah a wet November day at Twickenham is not the same as the conditions next year in Japan. Harder grounds and warmer weather would favour ABs game.

Lawes offside? His tuming was perfect but was his foot infront of the back foot pf the ruck.... he was slightly ahead of other england players but was borderline. One of those decisions that wpuld have been talked about either way.

But damn underhill played Barrett!

Lawes shpuldnt have tried to off load to slade forcing slade to react im the moment.

And TMO should have called it back to check on the danny care incident which would have been pen england.

Mixtures of fine margines, bad decisions and missed fouls in the last few min but england were in that game is my point and could have won with a much improved performance and damn underhill earned his place.

Okay so now that I've calmed down, the most annoying thing about the try was that Underhill completely turned Barrett inside out. He should have been rewarded just for that.

It is fine margins and as pointed out, we got the rub of the green last week. I now want to see some consistency from England, building on the positives and improving the negatives. One big improvement was discipline. 7 penalties (although AB's only gave away 4) is a vast improvement from previously. Also none of the them were for anything ridiculous, but for competing for the ball.
(I think)

Well one thing we can take away from this game is that England will be a force in the RWC. You guys got players coming back from injury as well so the squad will be strong and Eddie will have that lovely headache of who to pick. Lot of positives to be taken away from England in that game.

True, though also has the potential to rain heavily and be humid making the ball slippery. Though the conditions also vary from northern Japan to southern Japan massively.

If the ABs don't step it up, which they will, Ireland will beat them, which they may well do anyway.

Really want Cokanasiga to start next week. Still v disappointed Mercer wasn't involved today.

Like Underhill, Curry, Binny in theory. But the odds of all 3 being fit at the same time is remote. Underhill proved what a difference sheer physicality makes. Need more of that from our front 5. When's Genge back?

Well we're talking about today's game not next year. And a lot can happen in 1 year.

What game? That was a demolition. ****, I reckon half the spectators called the cops because NZ just murdered England.
