For me, Lawes was quite clearly stood offside before the NZ 9 even picked the ball up. He wasn't behind the back foot at all.

That's not what lost England this game. A shocking line out is what cost them in the second half. Can't lose that many of your own lineout against the best team in the world.

England can feel very proud of that performance. If someone who didn't watch rugby was told one of those teams was among the most dominant on the planet in any sport they'd have been hard pressed to tell which. Went tow to toe with the ABs and came of looking at least equal. They seem to have sorted out their problems in the backrow as well.

Sure England can but finally New Zealand punished England exactly as England won South Africa on last week, 1 point, 1 arbitral decision XD

Watch this game less often these days and seeing big games decided by the referee two weeks running doesn't make me any more engaged.

Worse part is they've both been close calls where the wrong decision has probably been made.

Why is his size relevant?

George has thrown to Itoje thousands of times before, I doubt he's done much different today.

Because Itoje is that little bit smaller everything has to be spot on. If he's under pressure, he can't get quite as high as, say, Lawes to compensate, nor has he he got his wing span to adjust and compete if things aren't quite right. Retallick's 9cm taller, doesn't sound much but fine margins count at this level.

Good effort, but if you don't score for 57 minutes you'll never beat the ABs.

Fine margins. We gifted NZ 3 points following Farrells kick on the full which is what it came down to in the end. England could have and probably should have taken the 3 when they went for the corner.
