[2018 November Tests] England vs New Zealand 10/11/18

Barnes still rubbing off to Farrell forgetting it was his poor decision instead of kicking the points is why we are behind.

I'm going to be quite peeved of we lose this by 1 or 2 points.

Nonsense this is the price you pay for not having any attacking ability in the backs.

You can't win a game v the AB by defence.

Farrell and Te'o offer **** all in attack on top of Youngs 100 year old passes we are just not troubling NZ.

But according to Barnes, the god of rugby, he's made 10 tackles and there is nothing more important than that.

Faz did have a massive affect in the first try with that ball straight from 9 to Ashton and without his pushing England would never have scored that Maul try....
The whole team got in on that. Efforts like that alone from a team deserve a win.

If we win by one was it still the wrong call?
Yes.
The call was made without hindsight.

It was also still the wrong call when England did the same thing. England's repeat of it was a dodgy call, but more valid than the first

It's nothing to do with the ref I agree but I also don't think on this occasion it's about our attack at all. We're losing because of key mistakes such as farrells failed restart, sinkler spilling it, plus our dysfunctional lineout - it means we haven't been adding any points for how long now?

In the context of this one singular game no.

However England might lose this game based on a similar decision. And the percentages says thats by far more likely to happen.

I dontnjudge tactical decisions by outcome but what the situation is at the point they make the decision. Otherwise you might make the wrong tactical decision when it matters more like a RWC Gtoup game.
