[2017 Super Rugby] Round 2: Stormers vs. Jaguares (04/03/2017)

I dont recall who tried to pass the ball instead of keep it and ruck/maul and that lead to stormers last try + some kicks missed + yellows. Take 2 out of that and this was win. Bittersweet Saturday some good things were showed but some nasty.

I think both sides have quite a bit of upward potential although it is very hard to predict what the season holds for either side. The first of four very tough away games this year for the Jaguares in South Africa (weeks 7-9 its Sharks, Bulls & Lions in a row it looks like?) and I'd imagine they need to pick up at least one away win out of those to stand a chance of making the playoffs.

Yes, Sharks & Bulls should be our targets on that tour.

Cheetahs doing the Jaguares (and Stormers and Sharks) a favor by taking down the Bulls a peg.

I though the Jaguares showed more promise this week, the discipline hurt them again at the end, but also the try when they were down to 13 showed their danger. Stormers looked OK, but once again the Lions look like the only SA team that will have a chance of competing with the NZ sides.

Stormers under performed and lucky to take this.
Discipline killing the Jaguares again, they should look at changing their captain
