I think the Hurricanes shouldn't underestimate the Lions based on this QF performance. Yes, the Lions were poor, and the Sharks were brilliant, but I'm sure the Lions will be back to their best.

On a side note, you must all pray for Lions lock, Franco Mostert's brother, JP, he was in a serious car accident after the match, and the suspicion is that he broke his neck.

It's just on facebook at the moment between friends and family. JP's girlfriend is a close friend of mine, that's why I know about it. Latest news is that they have been able to stabilize him and is no longer life threatening. No news yet on his neck, and if it's indeed broken.

Same goes for the Canes though. We were poor vs the Brumbies

agree. if canes arent prepared lions could win this game.
teams seldom win the first time they go to a finals. lions have had their finals and the fact they lost that finals to the canes is massive motivation . they have history and experience. of the saffa conf they have been easily the best.
lions can take this. theyre at home in their own beds surrounded by their loved ones. that makes a huge difference.
canes have a huge task travelling then going into the lions den to get a win. this will show whether canes have the character.

i feel our major weaknesses are benMay and julianSavea and of those 2 Mays probably had his best 2 games in the final round robin and QF.
julians gotta get dropped. Jane offers so much more and has a much better work ethic. julians been going missing for large parts of the game, then runs the ball breaking no tackles or doing stupid kicks that gives away possession.
