Hope we can come up with the 5 log points again. We really should. Honestly, with the hand we've been dealt we should be close to topping the overall log. Its been a bit hit and miss really.

Juan de Jongh and Cheslin Kolbe possibly going to be called up for SA 7s for Rio. Thankfuly De Allende has pulled out of 7s but he does need to step up. Taute and Du Preez nearing fitness. I expect Taute would slot into the centers and either of Du Preez or Du Plessis could play at 15 should De Jongh and Kolbe go out.

TBH though Kolbe is a livewire I wouldn't be too sad to not have him available come play-off time. I've been bagging De Jongh but we will miss him on defense if De Allende doesn't shore up his D soon. In our loss to the Waratahs I put all but 1 of their tries squarely on his shoulders from dropping tackles.

We really should win this game comfortably but I am concerned about our chances going forward. Rather than build towards anything we've had a series of ups and downs and too and fro's. One could cite injury disruptions to account for this to some degree but other teams, most notably the Highanders and Crusaders, have taken players coming in and going out in their stride.

I don't know why there is this facination with Juan De Jongh. My brother also sings his praise but he has never impressed me at all. What is the most frustrating to watch when he has ball in hand, is the amount of times he slips when trying to step. I think the Stormers will be better off when both JDJ and Kolbe are with the 7's where they are much more effective.

I would then keep Jean-luc at fly half, have De Allende and Taute at the centres and have Robert at 15.

We will certainly have to rejig our backline (again). For me it all depends on what sort of form Taute is. The last few times he has played for us he seems to have lacked any sort of speed. If that remains the case I'd have him at center and Du Preez out wide. If he has gotten back to 2013 ITO his pace then I'd have him at fullback and would be tempted to try a double play-maker 10/12 combination with Du Preez at 12 and De Allende at 13.. probably though its best not to mess aroud with De Allende's positioning. I don't know.

On the positive Etzebeth looks likely to return after this match. We'll need our best for the business end!

Not sure if Stormers were just bad in first half or if the Sunwolves was very good.

The Stormers were terrible. Our backs just don't have any initiative on attack and are often just getting the ball and standing still. De Allende has been exceptionally poor since he returned this year.

And the Stormers are meant to be the best SA have to offer yet are losing to the newly promoted Sunwolves? Gee, I have my worries for South African Rugby, at least the Lions seem to be heading in the right direction.

Whilst I don't think that was a clear cut one the ref could have called on the spot, if the ref does award it, then he shouldn't be able to hold the game up for 3 ****ing hours after belatedly deciding to review it and then reverse the decision.

Stormere haven't been great, but credit where it's due - the SunWolves have improved significantly in their defence this week

Are the Sunwolves always going to have games in Singapore?

Hopefully not. Makes no ****ing sense... If SANZAAR have any brains they'll reorganize the comp into 3 conferences and just let the S. Africans play on their own

Sunwolves bench has let them down in the past, hope they can keep it up for the rest of the 2nd half. Another penalty here and I think the Sunwolves will get a guy sent off.

To be fair I can see why they need the extra sub in SR.

Stormers seem afraid to run the ball from their own half - it's just bomb bomb bomb if they don't get the ball in their 22

The Stormers are awful offensively, all they do is kick the ball and they will be gifted a play-off spot thanks to this terrible conference system, this is awful rugby, I would be really concerned if I were Stormer fans.

Stormers' kicking game is atrocious. My god uncontested garryowens and missing touch on a penalty

Stormers Tighthead as crooked as Sepp Blatter

F#ck I hope they can hold on! They seriously deserve it. They're the only team out there playing any actual rugby.

du Toit is the only player who's showed up for the Stormers, Spring Bok spot for him no doubt, Synman, De Jager, du Toit and Etzebeth
