It's probably quite important for the Jaguares self belief next season to defeat a real top team and after the Highlanders struggles for 60+ mins against the lowly Kings last week this could be the one. If Highlanders lose here and the Brumbies and Waratahs somehow beat NZ opposition then the Highlanders might unexpectedly be in a dogfight for that last wildcard. I think the Jaguares might find a way to lose it though.

we'rte getting our AB's back which is obviously good...but once again its a different team, would really like it we could get a settled 15 out there regularly

I think you hit the nail on the head Bruce. The Jags struggle mentally if they are in a winning position and seem almost to want to lose. I hope last week was the start of something better.

Landers by 12. They will jump to the pitch with Guns blazing, they cannot afford to lose points. And they are coming with all the AB material.

But, when we expect less from Jaguares is when they perform the better. So may be a short margin loss or victory could be possible.

Jaguares today: knock on, knock on, penalty, knock on, knock on, penalty, knock on, penalty...

Jaguares being worn down as they just can't win a lineout so always playing in the wrong part of the field. Ref has done well to calm down both sets of players. Jaguares also a bit soft defensively. They need to get that chip off their shoulder and Creevy has a bad temperament for a captain.

Hilarious decision by TMO!

The TMO must speak English

You should not award the try!

It's a shame. Even I can do the job. ****ing UAR

Apparently the TMO doesn't speak English. He can't comunicate with the referee. Sounds like a joke but it's true

He did say "you may award the try" in impeccable english. Pretty sure he had no idea what he was actually saying thou.

Well, our players don't understand a **** of english either (despite some of them played in England), so no surprise the TMO doesn't.

Pathetic performance, the worst in all of the competition so far. They didn't do a single thing right.

Even if we bring our A game here they are better. They have a lot of quality in all positions overall. That being said again some issues non related to the opposition arise today:

- Weak tackling(it´s not a Mather of size, we have even weight across all positions if not more). These same players used to hard hit last year...
- Center field has been an issue all tournament. They are not synchronized. We still miss bosh.
- If the other team pressure high we don´t have a plan B. Either we have it and players don´t execute or we don´t have it(im leaning to this)
- We off load to quickly or to no one. Doing knock on. Today it was a fine example between a team with skills and one with out them.
- Some players are just below the tournament level by a lot.
- This game play needs high impact players and penalty´s to work. We only have ISA and our main source of generating penalty was the scrum no longer works.

If they don' t address some of the issues then we are going to be a bad team forever.

Very scarced guys. I can't accept that the Jags cannot get play better than this. This was not good. If it stays like this, will many return to Europe?

Congrats Highlanders for your win.

Bad game. Expected result.
No near the worst we've seen this year IMHO.

We were playing in Argentina...green and white are our away colours

Jaguares definitely need coaching assistance on the defensive end. Northern hemisphere sides defend a lot better with less talent (although are often blunt in attack).

Keep the chin up though, it's your first season and your schedule means you've had to polar arguably the eight strongest sides in the in the contest. Next season you'll have the Aussies so on this seasons evidence you'll only face three of the eight strongest sides.
