2016 Olympic Games, Rio

Yes but over only 3 Olympics. Whereas Redgrave and Phelps have competed in more so sustained success isn't a factor if you pick Ewry. Not selecting either way just an interesting topic.

I would consider longevity as one of many factors that strengthens someone's claim, but it is tough make comparisons when some sports (like rowing, fencing, shooting and archery) naturally allow competitors to have a longer career than others.

Damn so so close.

Yeah, great match.

She's performed really well, might well be in for a Bronze.

May not look the tidiest sport, I may have describes it as 2 people in their dressing gowns having a drunk hockey fight. But having seen a few more matches I understand the tactic behind it, that was a close fight, our girl so close to winning it. Lets hope she goes and gets the bronze

I'm more worried about another fencing heartbreak 4th for her.

And that's the closest you'll see to a belly flop at the Olympics.

wonder if more pressure is on you in the bronze medal match.

at least in a Gold and silver fight you def have a Medal.

Tom Daley may not be the first Britain to win diving gold at the moment.

Thought you said America bringing ***s in the diving thinking WTF.
Nope redive then they protested it for no good reason. It wasn't like the Mexicans were in contest with them and they were already delayed.

The Mexicans bodged their dive possibly due to lights coming on. Were granted a redive then the Americans who were up next protested it. Complete farce.
