[2015 Six Nations] Wales vs England (Round 1)

I thought Burrell was a bit dodgy, would like to see Eastmond in when fit.

Ah, between 36, 12T and Twelvetrees, I forgot he had a first name. Whoops.

Waaaah! England suck! Ref was bent! ***** all you Enegrlish! Your al g*y!

OOps sorry, thought I was on yahoo sports.

Well done England, although I feel we gifted it to you at times with some very poor defence (would not want to be in training this week, Edwards is going to 'Beast' them). You can only play what's in front of you, and you did that well.
How many bloody world class second rows do England have?

Congrats England, thoroughly deserved. Thought it was going to be our day up until half time, but a creaky scrum and malfunctioning lineout, as well as good control by England, didn't give wales any momentum in the second half.

I thought we were very poor in the second half, couldn't get any momentum, which rendered our entire backline useless.

English defence overall on top, with the choke tackle really hurting us once again. Not a tactic I like in rugby, so negative, but it's effective, and really stopped our backline getting going.

I don't think the 6 nations is over for us yet, but today was a massive disappointment, and we've now gotta pick ourselves up and hope the others beat each other.

[gQUOTE=j'nuh;706268]Really? I thought his carrying was mostly harmless.

Ben Youngs for me, no doubt. Thought that the main improvement on this England squad from the Autumn was that he upped the pace on the game, and his darting around the fringes was excellent.[/QUOTE]
agree completely. He was great. Brilliant tackle on Roberts too.

The only player who stood out for Wales in the second half:

James Haskell doesn't like this

Agree about the choke. Rugby has been doing some soul searching with regards to the flow of the game, and, inexplicably, the choke tackle has escaped the limelight.
And its not a logical rule in the slightest.

This said, we all do it, albeit some more than others (I'm looking at you, Ireland! :p) and until the rules change its fair game.

It'd definitely not the end of the tournament for wales. We have a tough fixture list whilst from memory you have Ireland at home?

Sure Wales would feel unlucky after a strong first half from them but England were deserved winners after Wales were making simple errors and England were making the most off it in the second half.

so after that game hopefully Scotland might be able to get a win against Wales at Murrayfield,
