Huh? Dunno about on our throw in, but on their throw in, Hibbard is notoriously weak on his darts. It's not like a train wreck of an issue for him, but it is notably a problem in most games, one or two balls being overthrown or not straight. It's something that we can target/unsettle them on. Meanwhile, our lineout was safe in the Autumn with Attwood/Kruis. Admittedly, we had Wood back then. It will be interesting to see if Wood is as important to the lineout as Lancaster made him out to be.

Simpson isn't in the EPS so can't be selected unless there's an injury to one of the 9s in the EPS.

I suppose for some having Simpson outside the EPS is something wrong in itself!

True enough - Dickson for that matter too. If you were picking solely on recent club form then it should be Wiggy, Simpson and Dickson, with Youngs and Care in the Saxons.

I'm not saying that should be the case, mind. Just that I can understand where people are coming from.

Squad announced: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/31120243

Props: Cole, M Vunipola, Marler, Thomas, Brookes
Hooker: T Youngs, Hartley
Locks: Kruis, Attwood
Flankers: Croft, Robshaw, Haskell
Number 8s: B Vunipola, Easter
Scrum Halves: Wigglesworth, B Youngs
Fly Halves: Ford, Cipriani
Centres: Joseph, Twelvetrees, Burrell
Back 3s: May, Nowell, Watson, Brown

No Corbs, no replacement lock, Croft over Kvesic/Ewers and no Care are the questionable choices for me.

................Neither of whom are in the EPS so can't be selected..............

Probably wrong, but I thought Lancaster could name a 6 nations squad entirely independent of the EPS if he wanted? Just wouldn't have the same access etc.

(I know neither of them are in the squad so it's redundant as well as hypothetical, but...)

and was called up to the EPS to replace Wood shortly afterwards.

doubt we'll see any changes, except possibly BB & LB in the midfield - which would be a massive shame.
