[2015 RWC] Semi Final 1: South Africa vs. New Zealand (24/10/2015)

Funny how it's English gutter press when it was Ozzie press that brought it up....ah the bias of some posters here blaming us on everything. In fact ive not seen a single link to an English article in this thread on the incident.

Glad to see that zoomed up though pretty clear McCaw clipped his shoulder nothing in it, incidents like that need to be investigated when it appears there is wrongdoing nothing wrong with that....but as noted clear evidence needs to be produced what happens. The first shot I saw was really inconclusive showed something might need to be investigated but you can't hang a guy on that evidence alone.

Funny how iv read atleast 3 articles by the UK press today and I wasnt even looking for them specifically. It was originally brought up by some fool on twitter or facebook and id be surprised if they were Australian.

But then id expect a weasel like yourself to be quite matey with gutter rats.

Tall poppy syndrome, unfortunately for us NZers, we are the worst especially when we lose.

Hard luck SA and luck on the day was crucial during that brutal match.

So your not suppose to report a potential citing of the NZ captain before a fjnal? The two articles I've seen (Telegraph and Mail had to go looking, BBC didnt report it)aren't calling for his head they are completely fair in what they are saying. Take the blinkers off for two seconds and read what is written.

Mail was slightly more worse in the way it was written. However you read tabloids expect sensationalist bull**** Ikeep anything they write at arms length so should you.

then post a link all have to go by is your word they weren't fair.

Nutjob? Don't remember saying McCaw should definitely be banned unless it could be proven that elbow went to head (it didn't as posted) and i wanted to see more angles and slow motion to get a cleare view of what happened.....I think someone likes to think what I say opposed to what I actually say.

TBH who the fuk reads the comments section of the newspaper website. they tend to be the YouTube comments of the media and who would read that.

Having a quick look it seems that nearly all the English press have copied that one Aus fox sports article on it, criminally lazy journalism yes but really I can't see it being a sign of utmost hate, as said English press have in general a hard on for the all blacks, but also the truth is since the NH teams are out they prob just don't care that much.

Thats a western media problem in general though they just regurgitate a story weather they know its wrong/right or couldnt care less anyway. Look at when mh17 was shot down it was instantly "putins missile" front page headline within hours of it happening. Pretty disgusting stuff really even if its true imo.

I wrote to the NZ herald this morning NZ time to lambast the hell out of them for their BS lazy crap they copied from somewhere else. I couldnt really care less what the UK write (lost cause) but there is a certain pattern with some of their reporting your cant deny that.

but it how many people wanted to string him up on some bullcrap innocuous footage just because it's McCaw? It's ridiculous.

McCaw glances the rising Bok player on the shoulder with his hip as he rushes through the gap between the rising player and no.2 Bismarck.
No intent and nobody injured.

Yep, last chance for the haters to "get" MCcaw and they've failed miserably.

Exactly, we should hang our head in shame. I feel bad that I'm a Kiwi, I only wish that I was born overseas.....we are pathetic vile creatures. 4.5 million people with no where to go.

That does it, I'm emmigrating to South Africa because they are fair.......I hate this country, next Saffa I see I'll ask politely if he/she will forgive me.

I hate fair refs too, I want a non neutral ref like SA had prior to Isolation.

Let's face it guys, we aren't worthy

I clearly placed too much faith in the vine that it was a) the blow that caused Flouws cut and b) the impact was with his elbow. I take back what I said completely and am happy to see him and Carter get to end their test careers in the WC final.

At least we know the NZ economy is thriving - exports of Strawmen are through the ****ing roof.

Managed a media blackout for 12 hours so just watched the game.
Best team won - 2 tries to 0.
SA never looked like scoring. You can't win a game by trying not to lose.
Thought SA youngsters showed some promise - De Allende and Kriel made some good breaks - with experience they will improve I'm sure.

Thank god AB's won. If they had lost scoring two converted tries & 2 goal kicks against 7 goal kicks we would never have heard the end of it on here.
