2014 Super Rugby: Blues v Cheetahs (Round 6)

Oh this is getting daft! Between the ref and handling errors how many consecutive phases have we seen so far???

Possibly try by Moala. The Blues look good when they manage to hold on for more than a few phases....

Try confirmed. Bizarre call by the ref though. The video ref suggests there was a double movement, but the ref decides to over-rule him. Why did he even bother going to the video ref?

EDIT: And another try for the Blues. The Cheetahs are hopeless at the moment. Nice kick by Willison (and a good pick up by him too).

Simon Hickey's goal-kicking is fantastic!

It was a double movement the first time I saw it on the TV. Good lead up work.

Tevita Lee was about to give up but Willison following up on his kick changed and surprised Lees mind.

That was definitely a double movement, unfortunately Sky is being a bit funny for me so I wasn't able to hear exactly what the referees were saying, but the video ref said he "pushed off his knee"? Definitely sounds from that as if he considered to be a double movement.

TMO said he propelled himself off his knee, ref overruled him... Really odd one

Such a sloppy game

HT: 30-16. Not the best half of rugby, but there were a few brief flashes of brilliance by the Blues.

The Blues loose-forwards have been good - I like how direct Peter Saili has been running. Hickey has been the pick of the Blues for me - he just looks so composed for such a young player. Willison has had a few good touches, and Moala has been powerful in the midfield. The outside backs haven't really seen much ball - if the Blues can get the ball to Li, Piutau, and Halai the Cheetahs will be in even more trouble than they are now!

Anyone else having issues with MySky tonight? Can't rewind this match etc...

Maybe a translation issue ... Like the commentators said, why not just say, "yes, it was a double movement"

Kaino and Nonu on. It will be interesting to see how Kaino goes...

Luatua's at lock now... Contrary to what JK has been saying all season.

Fantastic try by Hendricks! Blues barely laid a hand on him.

Try Woodcock. Justified the decision to take the scrum - I thought they should have taken the 3.....

Try to the Cheetahs now. The Blues backline defense is poor. They just don't seem to know who is meant to be tackling who....

Cheetahs really back in it, Blues looking out of sorts after all the changes. Especially not just like for like changes but reshuffles as well ...

Is this brilliant cheetahs attacking play or poor blues defense?

Bit of both, think it would be a disservice to the Cheetahs to put it all on the Blues, but Darwin's right, their shape is horrible and it's like they don't know who they're covering
