[2014 Mid-Year Test] South Africa vs Wales (2nd Test)

good news that they are the only ones. I will never say it's good news that they are injured, because our injury list is already too damn high!

That's a fact! I was making a mental list of our injured and feel I need to put in down on in type just so I can **** myself again all over;

1
2 Adriaan Strauss -banned!
3 Frans Malherbe - was really hoping he'd be fit again after a good November and great Super rugby season to date / is Lourens Adriaanse injured? - why is he not playing?
4 Eben Etzebeth / Bakkies Botha / Flip vd Merwe up till now
5 PSdT (what a pity!!) / Franco vd Merwe
6 Arno Botha - really miss the guy
7 Heinrich Brussow - at least in the eyes of HM Brussow is dead
8 Pierre Spies - erm..
9 Louis Schreuder - no real loss it has to be said
10 Johan Goosen
11 Damian de Allende - probably my biggest miss as he could've been brought in in place of JPP at 13!!!
12 Jean de Villiers / Frans Steyn
13 Jaque Fourie / Juan de Jongh
14 Gio Aplon
15 Pat Lambie

Add the guys unlucky not to get picked (De Klerk, Kockott, Reinach, Whiteley, Heinke van der Merwe, Redelinghuys) and you have some team!

Can't see Wales improving too much in this test and will probably continue with what has been a write off of a season... Just hoping some changes are made and more players get a chance. Also, can we stop bleedin' kicking it so damn often?!

Latest news is that Bakkies Botha, Johan Goosen and Willie le Roux will be available for the test on Saturday after they got the all clear by the team Doctor today.

You were being disrespectful without even realising it.

You said that you don't understand why a test will be played at a city with no rugby tradition.

To which all us educated people, that knows the city, it's people and it's rugby culture, responded to your post. How about you just make an apology for being ignorant, and not doing proper research before posting. I'm getting sick and tired of this crap on this forum. This is not the first time you have made such baseless remarks. I'm not going to let this go anymore, be a man, and take responsibility.

That is all.

As for the upcoming game, Willie Le Roux sat out of training yesterday, But the Doc said it was just precautionary, and he will be fine for the test match.

It seems that Bakkies and Goosen are the only casualties after the game, which is good news. Marnitz Boshoff will most likely take his place on the bench. And how nice would it be if he gets a run on in his hometown...

WTF?? You are greatly exaggerated, I made only a question. As said @stormer2010; I was just wondering, this is a forum and questions should be welcomed
Guys, Conrad Smith made it clear enough he knows nithing about Nelspruit by asking questions. How would he! This is a forum after all where questions should be welcome. So he didn't put a question mark at the end of his 2nd sentence and for a foreigner we can't expect him to know anything about what is a pretty obscure city everything considered so just give the guy the benefit of the doubt that he did not mean to offend.

Would have wanted to see what Marnitz Boshoff can do at this level...

Why the game is going to play in Nelspruit? A city with no tradition in rugby. To increase the rugby's popularity in the black population?

What ??? WHAT THE FKNG DIARRHEA DEAD SHIIT APOCALYPTIC GENOCIDAL INSIDE OUT SNATCH RECTAL PUTREFACTION COCK-A-DODDLE-DOO IS WRONG WITH YOUUUUUUUUUUUU ????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conrad, you will pay...you will pay so dearly for this, there isn't a single poet who has ever existed, nor an existentialist thinker who could linguistically articulate or start to utter the things you deserve be done to you for this eternal, Satanic offense....Holy Mary mother of Christ have pity and magnanimity on your soul.

Quoted for hilarity :D

Oh, and go Wales. I didn't finish watching the first game, hopefully this one goes a bit better.

I saw that as well; a link for those that might be interedted in details (not that the article provides a full medical break down or whatever but still..)

Would have wanted to see what Marnitz Boshoff can do at this level...
That was my thoughts as well but I think it important that Goosen gets the experience as well; we all know he has the potential and it'll never get past only being potential if he isn't tested. My thought process then ran; what about starting Goosen to have extra pressure and see how he goes and introduce Boshoff off the bench but I don't like the idea of totally dropping Steyn right after his best performance in aa good while (not that he was **** last year mind you but the year before..)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
It's an incredible Heineken's imitation

So the Bok team will be announced today, as usual around noon local time.

I wonder what the team would look like, and if there will be any changes? My guess is that only Bryan Habana will be out of the 23 as his son was born on Monday.

The only player that sat out of training yesterday was Duane Vermeulen, but he says, it was merely to give a ****le a day extra to heal, and he will definitely be available.

Johan Goosen and Bakkies Botha will be available for selection, but I think they might be rested as a precaution to not aggravate the ****les they might have.

I would certainly not risk either of Botha or Goosen, no disrespect to the Welsh but it might not be a bad idea to give De jager an extended run and in Pienaar/Boshoff we have able back up for Steyn though I do think if Goosen is considered 100% he should actually start to give him a chance to show his game management better and have a good hour's run outside of FdP.

Mvovo is a good replacement for Habana so maybe have both M Steyn and Boshoff on the bench seeing as Boshoff can cover 15 as well.

I wonder if HM would consider moving JPP back to wing and bring in someone like Jordaan or Sithole into the 13 spot?

Not a bad option either especially seeing as JPP has been underwhelming at 13. I just keep getting bummed that De Allende is out injured..

Moet mamma jou bietjie troos??

hahaha.

Elke sport het sy beserings, gee kans, hy sal weer 'n beurt kry.

I thought Jan Serfontein had a bloody good game at 12 last week. It was his first start in the Bok jersey and he didn't put a foot wrong.

Bok team announced:

15 Willie le Roux , 14 Cornal Hendricks , 13 JP Pietersen, 12 Jan Serfontein, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Morné Steyn, 9 Fourie du Preez (vice-captain), 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Willem Alberts , 6 Francois Louw , 5 Victor Matfield (captain), 4 Flip van der Merwe , 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Bismarck du Plessis (vice-captain), 1 Tendai Mtawarira
Replacements:
16 Schalk Brits, 17 Gurthrö Steenkamp, 18 Coenie Oosthuizen, 19 Lood de Jager, 20 Schalk Burger, 21 Ruan Pienaar 22 Wynand Olivier ,23 Lwazi Mvovo

So Beast and Guthro swap again.
Flip comes in for Bakkies
And Wynand Olivier comes in for Johan Goosen.

So basically it's as I though, rather giving the guys a rest than risking the injuries to become worse...

Typical HM (not necessarily complaining here mind you);

1 going for continuation in selection
2 but not risking guys that aren't 100%
3 and bringing back old Bokke rather than "give away caps easily"

While this makes sense I can't help but feel that;

1 Our props are overdue a rest. Now this should be done in SR true but at the same time HM has a chance to test depth
2 good on the Bok selectors. Lets just hope our SR franchizes follow suit rather than risk our best which they tend to do all too often IMO
3 So a flyhalf is out and we need depth in the position and what do we do? We call up Wynand Olivier of course. Wait, what!???

We are sorted at fly half... We have Ruan Pienaar and Willie Le Roux that can slot in there... But we are a bit low in stock at centre
