I'm not holding it against him, that's why I thought it might help in mentioning it. With that said, I think there is also a difference in being an Afrikaner and being a Boer. I see myself as an Afrikaner, but not as a Boer, if that makes sense to you, but that is a total different discussion.
I thought I might just help Conrad, and basically anyone else that might have the same confusion.
Yes, I was not implying you were holding it against him. I was intending to say I picked it up as well but didn't mind it, again not saying your helping him right and being more accurate should be seen as a rebuke? rather than just helping.
There are just so many different peoples in SA and to confuse the issue some will accept multiple 'labels'. The most confusing would be the differences between the labels; Afrikaner, Afrikaan and Afrikaanse not forgetting 'Anglo-African'. And then within those there are further seperations. But like you said, that is a thread on it's own.
