[2014 Mid-Year Test] Canada vs. Scotland 14/06/14

^ :p
in a way it's cool this match happens at this point in time. Canadians will be more focused as they must be gutted by how they lost that Japan match, and have the benefit of being able to watch Scotland's performance against the U.S.

I fancied Canada to upset Scotland in this one... Until I saw the highlights of the Canada vs Japan game where Japan ran straight through the middle of Canada by just running slight angles.

Hope that Canada have sorted that out, no doubt I'll be watching this on BT Sport on Saturday hoping for a home win though!

Not directly relevant to this test, but not sure if there is a dedicated Scottish thread...

On the radio earlier, Dougie Hall and Ryan Grant both confirmed to be out for several months after surgery. Possibly up to six for Grant, don't think they gave an estimate for Hall.

well as what i've heard scottish rugby are trying to get the daily record website to stream but i'm 100% sure that the u.s game was on sky sports aswell as the stream. but if i find i will let you know asap

You're also 100% wrong. Although I was impressed by the quality of the Daily Record stream, it's better than either Sky or the BBC's live streams. However, they're not showing the Canada match, unfortunately.

mm.. not sure then i wouldn't be able to watch it :( btw i see that Jim Hamilton made a comment about Cotter's coaching program "In Coach Cotter, we feel we have one of the best coaches on the planet now looking after our program."

btw Ajwffc you should post more regularly on this forum we dont have much active scots poster's appart from me, Will and g6mcg would love to have some more here ;)

BT Sport have updated there listings at it is on BT Sport 2 with a program start time of 7pm(uk time) on Saturday.

Dala and Underwood have been dropped from the squad due to injury for Canada, and Gilmour has been brought in to add numbers.

TSN isn't showing this one live on TV due to the US Open.

Edit: CDN_Rugby has corrected me it will be streamed live on the TSN website and shown on TV delayed at 8 p.m.

Unfortunate that both will be out, especially Underwood. I was hoping he would get a run this weekend. Given the 10/12 problems we experienced last week, what is everyone expecting for selection? And what about scrumhalf? As good as McRorie was I think I would prefer to see Mack starting.

And just for the record, TSN is showing it live online, but will be shown on the network on tape delay later that night.

Surely Blevins has to be pulled from the lineup, even if it means Parfrey starts.

Hope Canada come out firing after last week. Good to see Hearn still in the lineup, adds a great deal to the backline. Disappointed with Hassler v Japan, needs a big performance this week. Conversely, I thought Paris was actually not bad at all, and he has had his fair share of critics before. Ardron needs to lead his team, Canada seriously needed someone to pull them together in the last quarter.

hopefully in this game scotland cuts out the handling errors and for Kevin Bryce not playing much games for glasgow he really needs to put on a big performance

Canada is a step up in class from the u.s.a game right? I don't know much about the americas. Hope Cotter gets a good idea of his team after a few games. Hope Canada give their fans a good performance.

Good to see Sinclair back and pleased with Mack starting but Blevins!!!! Hope they tought him how to play defence this week.
