[2014 Mid-Year Test] Australia vs. France 07/06/14

Let's say both play to their natural flair then based on talent and ability the Aussies should win comfortably.
No wait, maybe put 30 up on them
Getting way ahead of myself here, neva

if both teams performed to their ability based on the players alone, then France would have a very good chance of winning this. But it ain't the case for France these days, is it, so there...
We could see short intervals or flair from France, as they do every once in a while, but don't expect a masterclass attacking French side with the coaching staff in office.

the most intimidating training/preparation video you've ever seen:

Tremble, Aussies, tremble before this footage...

It is always dangerous to predict the result of a match involving France, but I'm going to foolish enough to make a prediction :)

France should have the edge at scrum-time with some quality props with some big locks behind them too. I'm looking forward to seeing Tolofua coming off the bench at hooker too, as I understand he is quite a big boy! I'm picking the lineouts to be pretty even, and I reckon the Australia might have a slight edge at the breakdown, though they do rely heavily on Hooper in this area.

Australia have an untested (but in form) halves combination, but I think they will probably be favored over the French pairing..... The French midfield looks a lot more exciting that the Aussie one, and I'm sure this is an area France will look to attack. I imagine Kuridrani and Toomua will rush up in defense making it very difficult for France to go wide, so Fofona and Fickou will probably have to step back against the traffic and look for holes (and area they are both pretty good at). I expect they will look to cut back and target Foley on defense (who is ok on defense, but does miss a few tackles). I don't expect either outside backs to see a huge amount of ball apart from on the counter-attack, though I do believe the "pass the ball to Folau" tactic Australia likes to employ could be quite effective ;)

Overall I'm thinking it will be quite a close match. I'm picking Australia by 5-10.

Jesus Christ Ewis calm it down.

I bet you're glad France isn't playing YOUR team there, huh ?!!...:D

Fox Aus made their Top 5 French Flair Tries of All-Time ! I love these Aussies and their fkng crazy humor :p

Sean Maloney is spewing absolute, absolute and utter gibberish there, it's hilarious how it just keeps going.

Well, this is it. Always loved the Wallabies, but I must hope France play a good one. Let us win a game Aus and we'll buy a bunch of English players on time for the RWC pool stages. Deal ?

France looking like Australia and Australia looking like France.

P.S.: seriously, I'm all alone here ?!!

Folau never steamrolls people front on like Ranger or Savea but man he breaks a lot of side on tackles

Ashley-Cooper, have some mustard with that pie!
