The semis finals are to both be held in Nantes and will be tough for last week's finalists in the H Cup but probably worse for ASM who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and succumbed to their Final jinx.....

Toulouse, after one of their best performances of the season in the quarters, have a rejuvenated McCallister to lead them against the formidable galacticos from the Med bouyed by their first trophy in many a long year and led by the ageless Wilko!! Tough one to call but, having forecast two finals between ASM and Toulon, am having second thoughts but will stick with Toulon.

ASM could well suffer some absences through injuries but, with revenge in their head, ASM should show enough pride in their performance to get to Paris and to beat Toulon there!!

It was a close call for me between the T's and I only went for Toulon as they have been my long term pick against your picking Toulouse based on a total dislike of Toulon!!!!!

Me dislike Toulon Never !!!!!!!!!! Armitage yes with passion Jonnie no a true pro, but the general arrogance is unbecoming in rugby and they should follow Jonnie "be great but be humble"

Quality forward. He and Bakkies must have won nearly every trophy possible. Botha has an HC, WC, Tri Nations, Lions, CC, VC, S14...

Rossouw won the Japanese league back to back as well. Even the king of the trophy cabinet Brad Thorn couldn't manage that, his side got relegated. About time he ended his lucky run of managing to end up in the best club/country possible everywhere he went.

Ospreys helped as well...

Who scored for Toulon?

sorry man, wasn't there to answer you at that point.

But hey, isn't it a bit of a concern how little noise Toulouse have made this season ?! I mean nobody heard them during the HC...they go down easy here, relatively...no try scored...
I'm afraid it's the sign of the end of a generation for the France int'ls. Clerc constantly out with injury...Dusautoir fine in places but not the Dark Destroyer he used to be..
Toulouse not doing too well is a bit of a concern for me...as far as France is concerned, but then again I may be over-reacting to this a bit.

Toulon were the better team on the day by a country mile, Toulouse 15 forward passes + knock-ons too many mistakes and never really moved forward with the ball, while Toulon defended with brilliance and throuighly deserved their place in the final, if they play like this next Sat. they are going to be a tough side to beat.
Armitage was well saluted by the crowd especially all the Clermont fans in attendance for his pathetic gesture towards Brock James in the 1/4 ers, deserved every piece of it!!!!
Jonnie was as usual Jonnie, 2nd statue to be erected in Toulon shortly, and they say he took a cut in pay to stay another season, they may well be doubleing his pay if they win the final next week. Without a doubt Toulon are the team to beat in Europe for the next couple of years.

Always wondered how does the French system work in terms of playing non-French nationals in your team. Is there a limit to how many can be in the squad? Also how does Toulon compare to other teams in the Top14 in terms of foreign players?
