1/2 Final Play offs

This season is undoubtedly the worst end of season collapse. They lost to two sides they are better than. In other years they have mostly lost to simply better sides, apart from the Leinster match in 2010 where they were better that day and blew it.

Leinster didn't win in 02-09 because the front five weren't good enough imo.
Leinster front 5 were poor yes but their star backs went missing at times too.
As for Clermont it's a fair point but the return of trophies from them is poor and it hard not to question their mentality. Like being fair Munster rattled them in semis and yes we played well but they should've cruised past us and while you can say they were dominant we finished stronger and had a bounce of a ball went our way could've won it.

Quote from P Duck, "On an unrelated note, I don't like the Top 14 having neutral semi finals when the teams who finished in the top 2 of the league should get home advantage as reward for their league place in my opinion."
The real reason is crowd capacity, Clermont and Toulon hold 18,000 and 15,000 so by playing in neutral stadiums the crowds are much bigger this weekend around 35,000 both semis when Montpellier qualified it was at Marseille and there 59,000 both semis the problem is often geographic, as France is a big country, Nantes is not the easiest place to get too, i've always said that the semis along with the final should be in Paris where everyone can get to without a problem, this will probably happen once the FFR have their new Stadium south of Paris. then they will be able to make as much money as the RFU, when i hear bar takings are just short of a cool 1,000,000 at Twickers i can understand why the FFR want their own Stade.
