I quite like the Labour manifesto but have two caveats:

1. Make sure it is properly costed and if it's not then amend accordingly.
2. Get someone other than Corbyn to deliver it (I just don't think he's capable of leading a country or a cabinet).

Was a good question but as Corbyn pointed out he has no idea with the conversation was that they had.

He was very angry at Corbyn but it was a good answer.

I'm curious to know what others would do if they were Corbyn re. Brexit. Remember in 2016 that it was left to individual MPs and ministers to pick a side and there was no party whip involved. Picking a side ahead of an election is essentially political suicide especially as the Tories have got first pick and are now an enlarged version of the Brexit party.

I understand that as a leader he's expected to outline his position and not sit on the fence but that would go against the idea of trying to reunite the country. Surely he could just say he'll confirm his position after he knows the content of the deal he plans to negotiate. Bit of a cop out but it's better than avoiding the question or picking a side before an election and alienating a large % of the electorate. Thoughts?

Issue is that he appears indecisive and Conservatives have exploited it a lot. I'm happy with his neutral answer, but not sure everyone will be.

Swinson really struggling to justify cancelling Brexit. I do think it's backfired because strong remain voters were probably going to vote Lib Dem anyway. However people in the middle who would support a people's vote, won't vote for them now.

That is literally McDonnell's position when he spoke on the matter yesterday. Corbyn does need to nail down his positions more, although in this case the two are very close together. I think he should say he would have multi party Brexit negotiations and call for a free vote across the chamber.

This interview is worth a watch to understand her viewpoint and where she is coming from...

At 51mins I'm not going to prioritise that. Is her beef about some of the Corbyn supporting grassroots make inappropriate remarks? I'd query if the interviewer, the very epitome of the pro-war careerist wing of the Labour party, is an impartial voice in this conversation. The choice of interviewer speaks volumes.

If the interview was in the last two days was she asked about the Tories and and the hypocrisy of her t-shirt in focussing on Corbyn?

Which leader of Brexit party, Tory and Lib Dems do you consider more, or even equally, capable of leading a party or country than Corbyn and why?

It's the sensible response otherwise he'd be picking a side prematurely before knowing more details which would ironically allow him to make a more informed choice later on. Sounds very familiar doesn't it.

Oh I agree, what I'm saying though is that many other people have bought into the conservative rhetoric that he's indecisive. By saying he will be neutral at least they can't continue that line.

In fairness, Fiona Bruce has been pretty light touch with the last three people (although I didnt see Corbyn). That is the gentlest I've seen an SNP leader treated on a UK programme ever. It is no coincidence that she and the ITV presenter earleir in the week were selected, because they have no real experience of holding questioners to account.

I think it has been fairly worthwhile though, and reasonably well handled given the circumstances, if we accept it for being at the lighter end of the spectrum.

I personally feel she's interrupted Johnson less, but I will admit I might be biased.

That's the problem with our so called democracy. Idiotic adults with no brain cells can easily buy into Tory rhetoric while smart, progressive and informed 17 year olds don't get a say.
