[2019 Six Nations] Wales v Ireland (16/03/2019)

I thought if the ball was still moving it was ok?
So it stops the situations where the ball was at a standstill in the in goal and players would stand over the back line and reach in and grab the ball to force a scrum from the kick
It could be. I'm not exactly sure of the rule. But I always thought it was the ball has to be over the line, not just the body.

Yeah shame is a bit much. I suspect the players have taken their eyes off the ball because Schmidt has announced he's leaving. Thats where i'm coming from. Drastic measures and all....

100%. That can have a huge impact subconsciously - knowing he'll be out the door in 6 months and your fate will be in someone else's hands. I'd say the same with Pivac at Scarlets even taking into account their injury woes.

EDIT: its doubly impressive that Gatland seems to have managed this without issue.

Can someone explain to me why Murray and Sexton are still on?
Because both are really playing their form off a cliff.

People saying Joey Carbery, Jack Conan and Dan Leavy are the big winners of this 6 Nations sum up the season really. The less you play the more valuable your stock has become.

I do hope that Ireland are trying to play some different tactics, because this isn't the Irish team of last year. Maybe in a WC year they are holding some secrets back.

No, we're just pathetic. Thought we were the best side in the world, got dicked by England and the camp soured.

Marmion comes on and we start looking immediately better with quick ball. Shock horror. Learn from this Schmidt you've been **** the last 7 weeks.

James Ryan is probably the only Irish player who can look himself in the mirror and say i gave that my best.
