Lanc loves us! He's been rumoured to be going to nearly every English club in need of a coach since doing well here so I'm not too worried. I don't think we'll keep him beyond 2019 when his deal runs out and he has a European Cup on his CV though!

Luke McAllister appears to be way past his sell-by date. He was on the wane at Toulouse and has done next to nothing with Toulon, so Wasps would be well advised to leave him in Toulon and sign Wisniewski.

I'll be gutted, but understanding of that happens; we'll also have to go shopping if so as we've not really got anyone ready to step up as first choice starter (unless Watson stays at wing with Homer at FB of course... erm...)
What I'm hearing is that it's not a money issue but a contract length one, we see him as passed his peak, and increasingly injured, and only offering a 1 year contract. He on the other hand has always wanted longer-term security; he wanted 5 years last time, and wants 3 now.
I would agree that 3 years would be a too-long contract to offer him (or any player in decline), but understanding why he's want it.
