He’s got to go hasn’t he. I thought he deserved to be cut some slack last season as he didn’t join until a dozen or so games in but looks like he won’t see the season out.

If he starts to go well in the prem (big if), I don't think this will matter. United don't really need to be messing around in cups right now.

Very little interest in soccer beyond a passing interest in United (they were the best in England back when I last followed and I have a morbid intrigue) and Newcastle (need filler to talk to my brother on occasion) but I like Amorim. United need a steady hand at the top for awhile, even if he achieves a mid table finish I'd continue with him.

To bring in all those attacking players and not give them at least ten games to click seems mad. Only two league games played and they were pretty unlucky against Arsenal.

Pumping Burnley this weekend and the noise will die down IMO. Mbeumo and Cunha are proven in the PL and Sesko hasn't even played yet. Onana looks to be the main problem that needs sorting.

It didn't seem to me last night that any of them were making an effort to click. All of their first choice players looked like they were trying to win the game single handed.

What a free kick by Szoboszlai!

125mil for Isak. He's good but not 125mil good.
No one is really. You have to pay over the odds and players with prem experience get another few grand whacked onto the fee.

If Liverpool win the league ( please god let them win) and Isak score 15-20 league goals then he will defintly have been worth the price. How much have they spent now, must be pushing half a bill. Mad.

Managed to get it down from £150m only because his relationship at Newcastle had turned toxic. Very few top class number 9s. That’s why his price is so high.

Looking forward to seeing how he does. He’s definitely better than Nunez.

But it’s all about the balance of the team and how he fits into it.

I'd prefer Liverpool not winning it for another 30 years, far more funny.

He's not acted very professionally but that is the way it is these days for a lot of players.
