I think this is the problem with Hollywood, so don't know why they are discussing revivals. Like the Godfather - the story was about Michael Corleone - it's been told. Why revive it?
This isn't Holywood proposals...this a Guardian film critic wishlist.

Because making movies, especially blockbusters, are risky. Reviving successful, popular movies like the Godfather mitigates that risk. I agree with you that it’s lame but it’s all about the money.

I've been recently to Swiss mountains and happened to see an interesting place related to James Bond movie. We were heading to the melting glacier and found out that some scenes of the film "Goldfinger" with Sean Connery (1964) were filmed on the same road, there's even a panoramic viewpoint called "James Bond str.". Also, when we were going back,we saw a huge photo of Sean Connery on one of the old buildings (apparently he lived there during filming) but unfortunately didn't have a time at all to make an additional stop :(
Here's the view point (photos made by me yesterday) :

This is probably the most famous Bond location in Switzerland if you have time to visit, it's now a restaurant.

I'm not a fan of James Bond at all :D but thanks for sharing, it's interesting. Honestly we found that place just because a foreign driver, who was ahead of us, stopped there so we were curious why did he stop and then it was a nice surprise to find out another famous place during our trip

Piers Morgan says it's woke. Did you find it woke? Did superman talk about Race realism and defund the police?
Its about as Woke as Superman should be. But people complaining about him being woke is the same people complaining Star Trek is. They either missed the point in the past or are saying it for clicks. With Piers its definitely the latter.

I really enjoyed it, the kid say two seats away from me was a little too engaged but at least he was engaged with the film (why he was up at 20:30 on a Sunday is a little lost on me).

I think most people's mileage will be on how much you enjoy James Gunn's oeuvre.
