England seem to be utterly terrified of the any sort of forward momentum. Players just standing around being marked, nobody looking for space the the most common response to a forward pass was to immediately pass it back.

That was shambolic, these people are paid millions to do that? What's the point of having lots of possession if you do nothing with it?
