When it comes to rugby gear I pretty exclusively buy Adidas but I’ve never been able to get on with their running shoes. It always feels like the soles are a bit too tall, as if I’m running on stilts. Absolutely rips up my calves. May just be an issue with the fit though.

Weirdly I'm kind of the opposite - find their soles a bit flat,
I did get a bit caught up in the London 2012 hype and buy the exact ones the Brownlee brothers ran in, though - and I'm....not a top level triathlete.
Also get chronic shin splints so prefer a nice cushioned sole - got on OK with the Adidas, though.
