As soon as they cross the river and enter gods own land they breathe in the Welsh air (which is found only in Wales, it is completely isolated from the rest of the global weather system) and drink the Welsh water (also only found in Wales, consisting of the magic 360 days a year of rain from evaporated welsh tears), they are filled with a burning passion and pride unrivalled anywhere else. They cease to be English, random consonants start appearing everywhere, their voices become all sing song and they have an overwhelming urge to dig underground for coal.
Nothing says heart and emotion like a Welsh region getting pumped by 30 points in front of a home crowd of 49 people week in week out.

I'm a consumerist sweatshop supporting whore so I've only ever had Adidas and Nike running shoes, but loved both tbf
If you're going to run a lot then it's worth going into a store and seeing what they recommend for your gait (/getting gait analysis from them) - can help prevent injuries in the long term
