Others outside Auckland didn't really like him, but I always thought he was a great match with Carlos Spencer.

Are you taking the mickey? Victor Vito and Jimmy Gopperth should not be anywhere near this team. Neither should Tialata the most overrated player of all time. Also how do you put Gear on the wing and not even include Alama Iremia? Where's John Preston? Jason O'halloran? Stephen Bachop?

Stensness made his provincial debut for Manawatu as a 18 or 19 year old which is a little known fact. He was a great player I always rated him, injuries slowed him down a fair bit but he was all class.
