World Rugby u20 Championship

Gonzalo Hughes... Welsh Patagonian?

Must be.... would be the first WP rugby player I've seen.

No. He's from Córdoba.
The Welsh colony in Patagonia is too small. There are more in the rest of the country.

This is probably not going to be our best 20s team ever but Doris, is going to be another class Leinster backrower.

What a butchered try by the French. Btw is anyone unable to watch only the Wales game due to geographic restrictions?

I can't tell if France have really dangerous runners or we just have really bad tacklers. Probably a little bit of column a, little bit of column b.

No idea, just know that thats where the Wales games are being shown over here

Little surprised ours aren't on sky and blocked on the streams - usually our u20s are.

Decent performance from Ireland. Doris is class. I was impressed with Hugh O'Sullivan as well. He'll probably end up in the Leinster squad given the lack of good 9s we've got. On the other hand a very weak scrum doesn't bode well for the game against Georgia and our backline defence was appalling. We did almost steal a game that we had no right to though so there is hope.

Good result for Wales, beating Aus at U20 level for the first time.

Lots to improve on though. Gave away far too many penalties. Very lucky the ref had forgotten his cards in the changing room, because they certainly should have seen yellow for repeated infringements.

Ref was also shocking in the tackle area, both sides really struggled with it becoming a bit of a free for all in the second half.

Defensively Wales looked organised and ferocious, if a little eager to get off the line. They also looked good when they spread the ball a little, but didn't have to do so too often.

NZ up next is a massive step-up. They'll need to improve their discipline and attack a little more to have a chance. Not all that hopeful though....
