World Rugby U20 Championship

Bloody hell. England are not going to win this year though, set piece and breakdown work is atrocious.

Zach Mercer is unreal ! Shame Eddie took both Curry bros, 1 or the other would have been fine . Tight 5 look very average this time round though, Will be annoyed if we don't see Big Joe play some part in Argentina tour . He would have been very useful for the u20s

It's far from the strongest Ireland u20 squad we've ever seen. Taking a small positive, 10 of the squad on Georgia are eligible again next year as is Tommy O'Brien and a few schools rugby standouts so 2018 should be a much better tournament.

New Zealand looked exceptional at times today.

So it's South Africa vs. England in the one Semi-final and New Zealand vs. France in the other.

Was rather surprized by the Springboks performance yesterday against Argentina, I thought it would've been a closer match. But I have to say our backline's skills were exceptional.

Bizarre zero-to-hero moment from a Scottish winger. Disappointed Italy lost but good to see the youth apparently playing the game in the right way and being much closer to the standards of their 6N rivals at junior level.

Also glad to see Troncon is coaching them. I'd love to see him get a crack at a Pro12 side if he continues to impress. Important that Italian coaching talent is nurtured with Guidi being relegated to Emerging Italy.

I feel as if the SA vs ENG game is out final. If we can win this then the tournament should be ours. They seem like the toughest opponents we could possibly face although NZ also looks ominous.

I think NZ are the obvious 'team to beat' but England will be tough. I remember how the dismantled us last year.

This is a pretty lacklustre England side to be honest. The pack, especially, is way below usual standards.
I'd be amazed if they make it past this point

any watching having problems with facebook stream?
You know it's on ITV yeah? which probably means that it's geoblocked for the UK.

Just gotta hope that my BT box decides to record the thing today - seems to be about 50/50 whether it remembers.

Good result for Georgia. Slightly worrying times for Argentine rugby. They are underperforming at pretty much every level over the past 18 months despite having a structure of competitions that on paper should be benefiting their development (ARC, Jagaures, 4N).

Losing to Russia and Georgia at different levels in the past week would not be in their gameplan.

RSA #15 cost them the game. No, i am not exaggerating.
He made so many errors i lost count. Not just silly ones, but the kind that makes your forward pack think "why am i even bothering if this guy will ruin it anyway".
He was pretty good against Arg, but appalling today.

Still, having said that, you can make the case of him having played better than any of the pumitas that faced Georgia earlier today.

ABs are a different league to everyone else and the U20's have sacrificed their best players to the seniors squad. Even then I can't see us beating this AB side, they look like they could take on a fair chunk of the senior teams and win.
