World Rugby U20 Championship

Vveerryy happy with that,
As you say, He should kill it at that level

Took them long enough not sure why he wasn't included in the first play sure he is playing in Nat 2 lately but others in the squad have been playing at roughly that level like Umaga.

Had you considered that he may have turned them down initially?

He wasn't necessarily not selected.

Why would he turn it down?

Especially to then say yes less than a week into the tournament after an injury

That he/and or Sale would prefer that he spent time doing a full off-season, or recovery work.

Just find it hard to believe that the selectors straight up didn't rate him as highly as some of the randomer wingers in the squad.

Because of injuries.

They may very well have said, he's available if you have an injury crisis.

It makes plenty of sense.

"We'd prefer him to do this, but in the case of this, we'll let him go", it's really not that farfetched. I'm not saying that's what happened, just suggesting a potential scenario.

As I say, I struggle to believe it's as simple as they rated Ali Crossdale (who?) above him.

Well Odogwu has featured in last years original U20's squad featured on the bench twice in the U20's 6N's and was then dropped for the JRWC. despite that season torching the Argentine senior Rugby world cup team.

Maybe U20's just don't rate him for some reason.

Wasn't he unused, or not named, or something, in the 6N?
There's zero chance we stopped him from going.

Maybe it's a case of the kvesic's, with everyone wondering what the coaches arent seeing
