World Cup Jerseys

I think you will find that most New Zelanders don't care if any country has a black away strip. England, Wales, Fiji and Scotland have all had black strips at one point or another and providing it isn't the jersey they wear when the face the All Blacks, no one really cares. Personally I'd like to see countries cement a colour for an away strip.

This!!!

England's had Red & White, Black & Red, Purple and even Orange on their rugby representitive teams in the last 10 years. Wales has had Blue, Yellow and Black away strips. Even the All Blacks have changed between White and that god awful Adidas Grey. I just wish national jerseys weren't subject to the same kind of god-awful marketing ploy that club rugby has been subjected to in the last 15 years.

and this!!!

National colours are supposed to actually mean something.

But especially this!!!!

He actually said that was the earliest he can remember. The last time they wore a white jersey would have been during their third test against France in 2009. We've never had a black shirt. Always blue. We've had an orange alternate top once instead of the usual white which was.... erm different

Someone should update the OP with official World Cup jerseys for each country as they are released

The only winner from all this will be Nike, all this is publicity and interest from a supposedley simple thing as a Rugby shirt. I bet they're rubbing their hands at the potentail sales figures.

You're forgetting Waldrom, Flutey and Hartley.

Englands jersey is fully white with the red rose on the left, world cup logo on the right and nike swoosh just below the front collar I think. I spotted it in this months issue of Rugby World. Don't know whether anyone has mentioned this yet.

j-dawg, about the shirt could you perhaps put a link up of a picture you taken of it or just say the page number. Cheers in advance

just saw the new all blacks jersey this morning tri-nations game against the springboks, its basically the same as last year jersey but with a white collar apparently a tribute to the 1987 all black team. the only other difference is the material used to make the jersey.

Look at that white jersey:
Disgrace blah blah heritage blah blah ripoff blah blah disrespect blah blah

****, a white jersey? I'm surprised that the RFU hasn't come out with an official complaint. Shocking.

Thought Mccaws arms looked very skinny in that new jersey today.
