Yes I play Rugby, and the reason why I would only choose players from a professional era is because it is too hard to compare the talents of someone playing 50 years ago, to today's professional players. Colin Means was 6'2, which was fairly tall for the time, and yet 6'2'' is far too small for most international locks, however the lineout's were different back then as there was no lifter.
