Which team are you supporting other than your home nation?

This is gonna sound strange, since we just had that match against them, but I was very impressed by the way Wales played on Sunday, and when we're out of the pool stages, I might very well support them in their en devours, also New Zealand has got my support and I would actually feel very relieved for the ABs if they manage to win the World Cup this time (still going for SA all the way though, would love it if we were the first team to successfully defend the World Cup).

Other than that I love the minnows, Namibia, USA, Canada, Georgia and will definitely like to see how Russia will get on

How come Eastern Europe countries have a soft spot for Wales? I've met lots of people from Romania, Georgia etc that have Wales as a second team.

personally i'm Cheering for Namibia, USA (Todd Clever mostly), and France. but that's because I personally know Brian Liebenberg who used to play for them and also because they had a prop that has the same name as our current coach.

Ever since I was little, I've been a big fan of Wales... I can't explain it, it's just a feeling that grew over the years (no jokes here!) and it never went away. Watching them win the Grand Slam was awesome and I see big things coming for them.

To be honest i am probably going to get flamed but i back the Aussies after us 100%, and I hope we play them in the final and beat them.

Wales are obviously my favourite side, but then the South Sea islanders and France, although Scotland tend to get a fair bit of support as well. I think everyone has a soft spot for Samoa, Tonga and Fiji- Simular to Wales, they're very good at being the plucky losers.

I thought it was only Aussies who had a soft-spot for their trans-tasman rivals. Most of my mates - as much as we love it on the odd occaision beats the ABs - always support NZ after Australia, but it's pretty rare to meet kiwis who'd support Aus in anything lol.

Ah the South African hate for Australia haha. You lot should really support us when we play the poms - southern hemesphere solidarity and all that. Besides, we're not a bad lot really... we're actually pretty accomodating people once you get to know us. Heck, our boys even changed their playing strip from being mostly dark green to mostly gold just so we didn't clash with the Springboks back in their early days (once upon a time the Union team was dressed more like are dark green clad Rugby League Kangaroos).

For me aside from the All Blacks it's:

Ireland, Wales, Scotland. This is because Australia and South Africa have won it twice and we'll never, ever hear the end of it if they win a third. If England win, they're in front of us for World Cup wins too and we know they'll quietly let us off the hook about that. France already give New Zealand a hard enough time and winning a cup will just make it all the worse also.

For me the Irish, Welsh & Scottish are largely a pretty humble bunch about the AB's and not having won a World Cup for so long. I've got a lot of respect for many of their fans, as they tend to direct most of their anti-team attitudes to a more local source .

So go all you guys, exceed expectations, but I still want us to beat you if we meet you.
