What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

I don't really get that line of complaints either, tbh - COVID and writers strikes will do that to ya. It's definitely been slow, but it's not egregious

It's not like the age differences between the actors and their characters is unusual for TV - the main kids are currently the same age as Steve was in S1, but the actors were 2yrs younger, during filming, than Steve's actor was in S1
Its just so visible because they used age appropriate kids in the first place. They've gone through full puberty and then some.

I'm trying but Episode 1 isn't grabbing me.

I liked first two seasons and couldn't stand season 3, really impossible to support this bs about the Soviet Union and dull lines with "Soviet people" looking/behaving like typical Westerners, speaking terrible Russian or those heroes pretending being Soviet speaking Russian with a terrible English accent (and "Soviets" taking them also for Soviet people) etc etc. Idiotism. Season 4 was slightly better (but again impossible to watch those gulag, vodka and matryoshka, towarisch! 🤦‍♀️).

first two seasons were so interesting that we decided to go to the event in Warsaw dedicated to the last season :) don't know if some of you visited it in your cities? We had a free one, with serial decorations, exhibition, small show and even pizza/ice cream like in a serial. Was really cool :)

I just finished watching the 4 episodes,
Really like them and can't wait for the rest 🤷🏻‍♂️
Yeah, I've just finished the 4 episodes, really enjoyed them, especially the last episode! Still one of the best things on TV. Can't wait for the rest.

I can understand the Soviet thing being grating for you, but I can understand the reasons why the show went that way given that the whole show is an 80's throwback, and in the 80's the 'baddies' in all American cinema was soviet Russia, fuelled by the cold war. So for many 'westerners, it pulls all the right nostalgia strings.
