Alien: Isolation

I'm playing this game as well.....and I'm bricking it.....and I haven't even seen or encountered the Alien yet!!

I gave this game a go last night! I am nearly always crawling or hiding. The Alien showed up for the first time and I was freaking out. Running away in a video game has never been more intense. I've stopped for now .

Saw this morning that Don Bradman Cricket is out on Xbox One. Great, thinks I, might get that and play along with watching the World Cup. However;

ITS 60 QUID ON THE XBOX STORE.

How do they justify that?

I love R08 on the PS2. If it was harder I'd play it more, I just got to the point where I could win every match 60-0 because the patterns are so predictable. It's funny watching R08 videos online and seeing people play the game exactly the same way I do.

I do that too! I put on the points against the opposition in the first half, swap teams, and make an amazing comeback with the underdog in the 2nd. 08 gets too easy and that's all you can do to make it harder. I hope a great rugby game is made again. 08 has been the best entertainment wise.

Yep, I started doing that as well. I find the first half team wins more often.

I also like do give myself challenges. Only score with a certain player, kick every penalty (end up with kicker who has 30 points).
Also had to stop contesting oppo lineouts, as they are too easily stolen.

I really wish I bought RC2 when it was available on PC. I hoped there would be more to come, so I held off. Now we are as far away as ever from a good game.

Just finished the main storyline of Far Cry 4 - bloody loved it!

Probably going to pick up Witcher 3 at some point this week.

Nope! I always meant to but then never got around to it - heard nothing but great things about the series as a whole.

I read that you don't need to know any of the first to to understand the 3rd so just jumped right in at the deep end.
Some stuff I presume is carry over from the others (the war? Yennefer? Presumably more?) but that's what google's for I guess :lol:

Playing through Bloodborne again myself and finding it far more difficult than I remember. Father Gascock has downed me at least 10 times. May summon some help for him, rage mode is kicking my butt.

the rest I found easy

finished the whole game solo with no help from anyone on my first play through at all
