Opinions Sir, Opinions
I want a fan of the newest LP album for that exact reason, it was change yes but too much and too drastic. Apparently their new stuff, first new song unveiled April 16th btw, is back to normal.
That's an interesting one. They definitely deviated away from their original sound and gained a bigger fanbase. They reverted back to the old grungy style c.2008 and their popularity has nosedived since.Well I simply feel that the Lostprophets went downhill after thefakesoundofprogress. Their following albums just sounded like so many other American rock/pop bands, which was made even worse when they released the video to 'Last Train Home', shot in America with American cars etc. I don't have a problem with American bands, many of my favourite artists are American, but I think they just went away from everything that made them unique.
Of course this made them much more popular, as they become more commercialised, but this is often my gripe with bands changing when they start to become successful. I'm sure they gained many, many new fans, but they lost some, myself included. I listened to thefakesoundofprogress a huge amount when it was released, but have barely taken much note of their other albums, despite giving them plenty of chances. There are plenty of other bands that have gone the same way. Another Welsh band Funeral For A Friend, Hoobastank and Papa Roach to name a few.
I'll give the new Lost Proffetiaid album a go to see if I like it. I quite like soft rock, so this album could be up my street, and sometimes I like change (the newest Linkin Park album for instance, which I love).
I know, every song I'm just waiting for them to mention their dicks or where they're gonna put them!! xDSteel Panther - Balls Out
Great album, think I still prefer "Feel the Steel" but this is growing on me more.
I recommend Steel Panther to absolutely everyone, regardless of if you like 80s hair metal or not, they're hilarious.
