Western Force v British & Irish Lions

I thought after an iffy cameo against Argentina he had some outstanding moments. He has a target painted
on his back (mostly by himself). I think he can do things the other backrows can't mostly due to his pace.

Very unlikely that he's a test starter. Maybe the bench.
His biggest problem is that he's not a natural 6, 7, or 8. Not big enough to punch holes like a 6 or an 8, and not a big enough turnover threat as a 7.

Today though against limited opposition he was very good in the wide channels and defensively, against Oz? Who knows.

Sounds like a career bench player.

Yes. Think the pack needs bolstering and he's not a lump. Great player though

Think it's all about balance, at his club the likes of Kemeny do a lot of the dog work, VdF made a lot of tackles today and carrying in traffic.

What is everyone's thoughts on Pollock that game? Has the ability to do some great thing and when in space he is world class but looks abit lost at times i thought, maybe indecisive until you get him some space. Great for a 20 year old with 1 England cap and now 2 lions caps.
As you say he’s 20. Looks like a baller to be fair.

Exactly, back row balance and centre partnerships continue to be the biggest headaches of this tour.

I don't think he has the frame to add another stone, think that would ruin his natural game anyway.
I saw a pic of Tom Curry this week when he made his debut in Argentina and the comparison today was huge. I think he's maybe put more size on than his frame can carry, bit like Sam Warburton lots of miles on the clock at a young age.
