JAMES HOOK has revealed he will miss Wales’ World Cup warm-up clash with the Barbarians at the Millennium Stadium â€" because he is getting married on the same day.

The Wales and Lions star is due to marry his fiancee Kim in Swansea on June 4, the same day as Warren Gatland’s side will face the Baa-Baas in Cardiff.

Hook, who has signed a big-money deal to join French side Perpignan in the summer, has been given permission by Gatland and his coaching team to miss Wales’ first of four warm-up games in June and August before they head to New Zealand for the 2011 tournament.

“I have spoken to the coaches and they are happy for me to miss that one,†said Hook.

“They are letting me get married on that day. I appreciate that and I am looking forward to it.â€

Hook has invited some of his Wales and Ospreys team-mates to his wedding day, but has admitted that he expects some of them to miss his big day because they will be on Wales duty.

He couldn't have organised it for the day after or something?

Priestland for Wales #10 ;)

Think we probably will see Stephen Jones at 10 for this game, and at a push Nicky Robinson.

Priestland has been playing well at 15, thats where Id like to see him feature in the Summer Tests.

Makes sense,
Use him as a flyhalf/fullback replacement on the bench, and someone else as a centre/wing cover
