Warren Gatland is Lions Coach

Why the hell did Wales allow the Lions to distract Gatland from his project with Wales for 9 months?

Add to the fact now from a Lions POV, he's just going to fill the side with Welsh players, and his style of play alongside Howley as backs coach will just be the same run straight bosh ball that failed 6 times in 13 months.

Simple:
Wales < Australia < Wales + BOD
:p

Also, would run slightly at an angle bosh ball be better? Because don't worry - Tuilagi's got that covered.

EDIT: I've just realised that you're simultaneously complaining that Gatland is and isn't the Lions coach. In the same post. It's like you're having an internal argument. :p

Haha, Tuilagi played that game against Wales and it failed completely. Mainly because none of these bosh-ballers know how to pass at the moment. Wish they were more like Nonu on top form.

But back to Gatland, I'm not as concerned about him disappearing for the summer after the six nations. We won the championship primarily on defense, so that's going to carry on into the summer. McBryde is someone who knows the individuals of the team well, so it's not as if some interim coach is stepping in from out of nowhere. And whatever happens out in Japan, it will be a great experience for players like Beck, Walker, Liam Williams etc. who are really exciting upcoming talents that play a totally different style of rugby to the current starting team.
