Wales v Australia - 17/11/2024 (16.10)

This is such a hard watch....

On one hand the players are sub par, the likes of Griffin, Ben Thomas, Murray, Winnet, Costelow and a few others are so far off international rugby it's wild...

On the other hand, Gatland ******* picks these small idiotic semi pro players lol.

Wales deserve a play off for their 6N position!

I'm glad they keep scheduling the Welsh games after the English games. It always cheers me up to know that no matter how bad we are, Wales are worse.

Honestly, if England aren't in a crisis, Wales definitely are.
And after Scotland matches

Honest the WRU needs investigating for how badly they have screwed a national treasure, tried to drain a golden generation for all it was worth while killing the domestic game. It is tragic.

I must confess I am concerned for Scotland next week, but it should be the match of the weekend.

I'd go one step further, they have implemented the tackle height law England rejected, and it won't be long before they use the dopy mare from Edinburghs research to eliminate contact U18 fully...

Safety is more important than the sports future.

I spoke to a former pro, and international a few weeks ago, he was telling me about his law suit regarding dementia etc... bragging about what he has been promised pay out wise...

He was, seconds earlier snorting a white powder off a toilet seat, and minutes later fighting random on a Neath street.

What more do you need to know about welsh culture, except the fact that our government recently said it wanted to change the behaviour of white people in Wales, which included 'dog free areas'.

Rugby in Wales is all but dead, and will never be reviced

Wales will probably get away with to an extent it next week because SA will pick a weakened side but I honestly think France in that first 6N game could score 80 odd points.

It's the apathy I sense from Gatland that gets me. In full contact he just seemed to lack the energy and know how of how to turn it around. It's like an "it is what it is" sort of attitude. "I'll work with what I have". Sadly that rubs off.

The WRUs main concern today will be a crowd of 56k. They were pressing that their crowd numbers were up last year and their financial position is ok. I can imagine there will be less there next week unless SA fans come on mass for a good day out. The Welsh pro teams have never had such small budgets and them being crap is hugely impacting the national team. Even if they took the cap rule away, the pathway is in trouble.

I think Italy will be licking their lips as well.

Yep.

I can't see that any selection of available Springboks won't beat demoralised Wales.

Then it's France, who've just turned over the ABs.

Then Italy, who will fancy it at home.

Then Ireland at the Principality, Scotland and England.

Wales-England could be like a 'best looking man in the burns unit' contest...
