I thought Moa got capped by the All Blacks? Didn't he come on in a Tri Nations game a couple of years ago??
Also FINAU MAKA! Completely forgot about him! Where's Isatola?!!

Moa got called into the AB's squad at one stage (I think it may have been an end-of-year tour), but never got an AB's cap.

Isatola is the current coach of Tonga.

Yea Moa is still able to play for Tonga. Idont know why he wasnt named in the 50 man squad he must have had a falling out with Isitolo Maka after leaving the team last yr days before the match with Samoa.

Hopefully Toutai Kefu will convince younger brother Mafi too play being Toutai will be part of the coaching staff.

Yes indeed, he would def be a start at 7 in any run on pacific island side and most other teams to. I agree with ranger T-Pole and Taione are good players in their own right, but Latu is irreplaceable. Nili to me is Tongas greatest representative for as long as I've seen them play and one of the worlds premier Openside flankers in his prime. His pilfering skills are second to none to anyone playing for any of the Pacific Islands not to mention he runs hard all day and hits like a truck is coming at ya. I always admired the way he played and it's such a shame to see him cast out from international rugby like this.

It's a shame they've got such a tight pool, as I'd love to see Tonga do well, as I've always been a big fan of the side, and the passion they always have for playing for Tonga- The kind of passion lacking in so many bigger teams. Their pack is incredible and they could give the All Blacks and France a scare, even if they won't upset the odds.

And didn't Epi Taione change his name to Paddy Power then change it back again, or did I imagine that?

Just read thing issue with Nili Latu...If I was a Tongan player, I'd honestly strike this Rugby World Cup unless Latu was given a reason to why he was not selected. It seems bizarre.
