Rugby is small time in the states but there are a chunk of gung ho types that find the open contact with no helmets or body armour appealing and it does make for great viewing with its big hits and non stop action compared to the 3 teams and breaks gridiron comes with.
Without college backing and funding rugby will always struggle to reach the masses in America
