USA v Italy

so what do people think about the red cards?

The first half seems similar to the Canada one in that USA were challenging, but then the Italian scrum makes the difference (which I read destroyed the USA's on the reports) and they get a turnover and score from it. Then the USA get a red card, and can no longer challenge, and then get another one which means Italy can get another try.

I thought Bocchino made a meal of the first red, he acted as if he had been knocked out or shot (despite getting up and playing after that), it was similar to Scott Quinnell's tackle 10 years ago against France, back then that was a yellow, but now they have got mega (too) harsh on big tackles. It's almost if they are trying to eliminate the big hit, if Brian Lima played in this era then no team would have ever selected him as he would have been a liability for yellow cards because he hits so hard. Still I am not surprised he got red. The second however was very harsh, that was a yellow.

Scott Quinnell's tackle as mentioned above, it won't allow more than one video per post these days for some reason.

Here is a video featuring the cheap shoulder charge no wrap hit from brother/current Eagles flyhalf Roland Suniula in a USA Super League game htis year...injured the guy for the whole season, Roland only got a yellow and no further punishment. What do you think?

Hit is at 1:20

Is there a replay or download of this game available (other than Universal)?
