Not a massive drop tbh. He was only on the 6N bench because JVP was injured. He's essentially only dropped from 3rd to 4th choice, being overtaken by Spencer (who should have been ahead of him anyway IMO).

Think this is a little unfair on Davison. He's been fantastic since moving to Northampton IMO; a really solid operator. Heyes has been good and AOF has a lot of promise but Davison is a serious player who has every chance of being in the 23 on merit come 2027. He's earned the right to show what he can do, it's not just a thank you for helping out.
