Are there any uncapped players that you think should/will get a shot during the fall tours? I'm talking about any team, North or South. I'll just throw one hat in the ring to start with: Phil Dowson for England.

I think Sonny-Bill Williams for the All Blacks will get a shot.
Maybe Hika Elliot might if Andrew Hore is not fit to tour.

Phil Dowson should but almost definitley won't as he once took his morning dump in Johnno's cereal.

There is no other logical explaination. Besides, didn't he get a game down under this summer?

Corbierso and Barritt are the two I see as most likely.

Sonny-Bill Williams is being reported as an "All Black in waiting" and is highly likely to be picked, his Canterbury centre partner, Robbie Fruean is also a chance, but there are other capped players that may be picked before him. If Andrew Hore doesn't get selected, Hika Elliot is a chance ... he was named in the All Blacks in 2008, and played against Munster, but has not got an international cap yet. If it's not him, it could be Jason Rutledge or Dane Coles who are both uncapped, or it could be Aled de Malmanche who is capped ... could also have some surprises in the loose forwards, but not very likely.

Robbie Deans is also likely to name some uncapped players in the Wallabies, such as Queensland Winger Rod Davis, who is very fast, and would probably have been capped already if he hadn't been injured earlier this year.

Aha!
Just when he gets over Ben Foden and Courtney Lawes ******* into his coffee, and gives them caps, he wakes up to Dowson doing that!

I'm not usually into conspiracy theories but sometimes I wonder if this is all down to some Leicester-Northampton rivalry...

Carr and Keatly(sp?) for Ireland im not if Johne Murphy is capped if not then him too.

Three Scarlets boys have a chance in Josh Turnbull, Ken Owens and George North (if he's recovered). Ken Owens has slipped down the pecking order though, as he's simply not getting enough gametime with the Scarlets, whilst the likes of Rhys Thomas and Bennett have stepped things up a couple of notches.

I don't think North has much chance of a cap though. If he returns very soon, he might get into the squad for development purposes, but getting onto the pitch is a bit of a stretch.

I'm personally hoping Turnbull get's a shot, as I think he could feature well for is even as close as the world cup. Lydiate is also going well, as is McCusker, so three youngsters all vying for spots. Trunbull probably has a bit more mongrel than the other two though, something which the Welsh team lacks.

Connacht wing Fionn Carr and Leinster second row Devin Toner could win their first caps for Ireland. Johne Murphy's versatility could see him earn a call up. A possible outside bet for a cap is Connacht tighthead Jamie Hagan. Tim Barker is starting for Ulster ahead of Ireland internationals Dan Tuohy and Ryan Caldwell- given Ireland's problems at second row, he may have a shot at making the extended squad.

Jason Tovey- bring him on with 20 to go against Fiji (or start him).
Would like to see Will Harries play a bit more (one cap... oh well).

Would have liked to see Faletau on as a sub against Fiji as well, if he was able to have enough rugby beforehand (needs to get capped before Tonga try to get him).

I thought he played for midweek team.

He got called up from the saxons because of an injury to someone if I remember correctly,
Came on as a sub in the maori game i think
