Uli's Rugby 08 Mod Thread

Actually the kaki shirt is the home shirt... but paradoxically this is the least used, because the colors are embarassing on TV or from the stadium: kaki is pretty similar to the green of the field, especially when the weather is rainy, and it's often the case at Paris ;)

The more used shirt is the pink one, with pink shorts and pink socks. And then the blue with flowers.
 
I have asked this before but everytime I try to download and add a kit to my game it doesn't work. Can someone give me a step by step guide on how to add kits?

A kit is composed by 2 files, 1 is a .big and 1 is a .fsh, so if you download a kit pack you should have 2 .big & 2 .fsh files per team max (if you have 4 .fsh files, that means you got a minikit, i.e. the kit preview that pops up in controller select)

You just have to extract these 4 files in Program Files\EA SPORTS\EA Sports™ Rugby 08, without folders, there shouldn't be any "Munster" folder in the directory, just the 4 files (plus any other you installed)

uli loko como estaS? espero q biente queria hacer una consulta para hacer funcionar unos minikits q baje. onda los instale en la carpeta pero no se ven... onda busque los archivos anteriores los borre y volvi a instalar y nada pq pasa esoo ?!! :wall: a los minikits q baje son los del stade (short rosa) y la del toulose (polera roja), hay alguna opcion de hacerlos funcionar? :huh:

Tenes que tener instalado el MegaUpdate Patch, ya que este parch reemplaza el Super 14 por el Top 14 de Francia, y cambia de lugar a los equipos franceses que ya traia el juego, por lo tanto son diferentes los nombres de archivo.
Instala el MegaUpdate Patch y no vas a tener problemas, si bien aun no esta terminado.

hola man dale lo baje (el megaupadtepatch V1.0 ) lo baje instale denueco las camisetas y nada , mas encima se me borraron las posiciones de los jugadores ajja , en verdad esto de las camisetas me ta rompiendo las pelotas, hay alguna forma para q aparezcan o me dejo de joder , bueno cuidate amigo q estes bien

I can do it. But as i say you will have to replace the khaki shirt by the blue one. And i think that the khaki one is the away shirt, isn't it? Anyway maybe i will make it as i have to update the Stade Francais kits with the short logos. [/b][/quote]

Como te dije, solamente bajaste los minikits (del Stade Francais con pantalon rosa y del Toulouse las nuevas camisetas) y los kits todavia no estan hechos, por eso no los ves.
Los minikits son archivos distintos que los kits. Los minikits son solo las imagenes de las camisetas en la pantalla de seleccion de equipo, y los kits son los archivos de las camisetas EN el juego. Entendes?
A los kits del Stade Francais los subo en unos dias y a los de Toulouse los esta haciendo "moloko".
Avisame cualquier cosa, pero seguramente ese es el unico problema, ya que el patch aun no esta terminado.

:p He said that only the minikits for Stade Français's pink kit are ready, and not the kit itself. He explains that the minikits are different from the kits, that the minikits are images in the menus while the kits are the actual textures used during a game. He'll do Stade's kit one day, while moloko is doing Toulouse. Then he said to contact him for anything even if he thinks that this is the only problem, and that the patch isn't finished yet

Thanks :) . You make a great job Ross. Your Chabal face is not bad, it's just one of your first faces. OEdit it's complicated and Rugby 08 models are a crap. We can't do great things :wall:

Yeah tell me about it!lol.Especially Carter's face,I stil cant get that one right.His one is especially difficult because his o model doesnt have a seperate part for his hair so you must somehow try and change only his head part to make him look difrent which is kind of tricky! :blink:
