Uli's Rugby 08 Mod Thread

Guys, I have a few questions. I read through this thread and didn't see an answer, so forgive me if I overlooked it.

When you download the RAR file for the minikit, where do you extract the files? I simply extracted the files and copied them to the following folder:
C:/Program Files/EA SPORTS/EA SPORTS™ Rugby 08/


My second issue:
Some of the new kits show up on the screen when choosing teams and shirts. But when the game loads, they are wearing the old kits (i.e., USA shows the red kit when selecting the team, then is wearing blue at kickoff). Then, when I quit the game and go back to the selection screen, the old kits return.

I redownloaded and recopied into the same directory, the new kits were back on the selection screen. Still the old ones when the game starts.

Thanks in advance for any assistance. I'm assuming I installed the files incorrectly.
 
Z-Town Pirate that's because the minikits are different files than the kits. Minikits are only graphic files for the selection screen. You have to download the kits files too and put them in the same directory.

The minikits are seperate files from the game kits. At this moment in time alot of the new kits are done, but haven't been released yet because they will be released in the final patch.

I am the only one at the moment who has all graphics installed, as i made them and have downloaded the matching minikits from here.

Me and the patching team are working like demons trying to get this patch ready for release asap. Not sure when that will be at this point in time.
 
Considering what you guys did so far, I think you're not proper demons, but rather on the other side :p

estaba pensando... si tendrias el tiempo para poder arreglar a gonza tiessi q mide 1.75 cuando mide1.83 y arreglarle la cara, tambien si podrias hacer la cara de lucas borges, agulla, de roncero y ledesma porfavor!! ha y arreglar el stats de hernandes q le falta mucho mas :p bueno y crear al ruso ajaj perdona por darte mas pega pero si pudieras hacer dos polomenos estaria agradecido ajaj

A los stats y a las formaciones las esta haciendo Ciais, yo solo hago graficos. Si, tengo pensado hacer las caras de todos los Pumas que pueda. Todo va a ser lanzado con la version final del MegaUpdate Patch. Te recomiendo que esperes y lo bajes cuando este terminado. Si no bajaste la version beta hacelo, busca el post. Tambien podes bajar el Rugby 2008 rooster. Cualquier cosa avisame :)

I'm wondering if anyone have the .o file with the kit model, so I can preview the kit without having to enter on the game everytime I want to check if a line in the chest matches with a line in the sleeve. Thanks in advance!

I can do it. But as i say you will have to replace the khaki shirt by the blue one. And i think that the khaki one is the away shirt, isn't it? Anyway maybe i will make it as i have to update the Stade Francais kits with the short logos.
