U20s Six Nations 2022

England's backs are causing alot of trouble when they get the ball.

Ethan Grayson at 12 looks useful.
Yeah, England's backs, Scotland's forwards.
England bench though, and our advantage in the backs is bigger than there's up front

Not sure why we haven't been trying to get the scrum penalties when we clearly could.

TBH, I'm glad they got that, they deserved to take something from the match.

He a ******* burner, fair play to the Scottish secondrow keeping up as well as he did in the second one.

Great win for Ireland hopefully the injuries in the back three aren't too bad.

Embarrassing display from Welsh lads last night. Worrying time for Welsh rugby if you combine that with the regions!

That's been said for the last decade though and somehow Wales are still competing at senior level.

Not necessarily. We've had some decent U20 sides over the past decade. Not as consistent as England due to a smaller player pool, but some good sides with standout players. Been a few barren years at U20 though, which really worries me.

Lad seems to be on the swift side

There was an interview a couple of weeks ago with the London Irish's academy on BT Sport. He name checked Arundell and Will Joseph (Jonathan's younger brother) as the next to break through.

Pretty miserable effort from Wales last night. Their pack was big, but not particularly strong. Their props in particular were billed as being huge, but they don't look like conditioned pros yet.

For Ireland it's tough to pick out stars against a team like that. Divine, Mullins, Crothers and the loosehead all played quite well.

The decision to move the 20s to Musgrave was such a good one. Saw a pad who couldn't be older than 14 drinking a pint.

Ironically your best U20's six nations team (2016 grand slam winners) players outside of Beard and Watkin haven't really cracked on

A bit disappointing of Italy to lose 41-15 in France after only losing to them by two points last year (and actually having a positive points difference overall last year).

Another Swansea Uni boy called up; Louis Rees into the Scotland squad. Came to the uni this year as a fresher having spent a bit of time in the Scarlets academy but really not much experience under his belt. Spent some time playing on the wing and at fullback for the 3s, then the 2s, before a few weeks ago injuries meant that he got his call up to the 1s. He seized the opportunity well scoring 2 tries on debut and has scored in every outing since. He's a small player but genuinely rapid, tackles well and has definitely earnt his quite meteoric rise.

I thought he was playing on the wing for Wales these days?

Wales predictably change over half the team front last week.

Wales U20: 1 5 Cameron Winnett (Cardiff Rugby); 14 Harri Houston (Ospreys), 13 Eddie James (Scarlets), 12 Joe Hawkins (Ospreys), 11 Oli Andrew (Dragons); 10 Jac Lloyd (Bristol Bears), 9 Archie Hughes (Scarlets); 1 Rhys Barratt (Cardiff Met) 2 Efan Daniel (Cardiff Rugby), 3 Adam Williams (Dragons), 4 Benji Williams (Ospreys), 5 Ryan Woodman (Dragons), 6 Tom Cowan (Bath Rugby), 7 Ethan Fackrell (Cardiff Rugby), 8 Alex Mann (Cardiff Rugby, Capt)

Replacements: 16 Morgan Veness (Ealing Trailfinders), 17 Joe Cowell (Cardiff Met) 18 Ellis Fackrell (Ospreys) 19 Lewis Jones (Ospreys) 20 Morgan Morse (Ospreys) 21 Morgan Lloyd (Dragons) 22 Dan Edwards (Ospreys) 23 Joe Westwood (Dragons)

Unfit and disorganised is probably being nice to them last week. They have actually picked that 17 year old on the bench as wel..
